The original Planes, Trains, and Automobiles is a John Hughes film that came out in 1987 starring Steve Martin and John Candy. There are a plenty of outrageous and hilarious moments in the original film about two people forced to travel together when their flights home for Thanksgiving get canceled.
Just like many other Hollywood films from the 80s, it looks like this comedy classic is getting a remake. The original cast had amazing chemistry, and the new cast will be bringing in some big names to fit the parts.
It appears that Will Smith and Kevin Hart are the actors set to fill the shoes of Steve Martin and John Candy.
So far there hasn’t been a firm release date for the remake or the roles they will portray, but it is set to be a fun travel romp with 2 talented individuals.
