Chocolate Beer Bread Recipe

Beer bread is one of those simple bread recipes to cook quick and enjoy even quicker.

I wanted a sweeter dessert beer bread, and this is the recipe I used for my Books & Brews’ Charlie & The Chocolate Milk Stout Beer Bread.

  • 3 cups ap flour (sifted)
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon coco powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (12 ounce) can beer
  • 12 cup melted butter
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Mix dry ingredients
  3. Mix in beer, extract, and half the butter
  4. Pour into a greased loaf pan
  5. Pour remaining melted butter over mixture
  6. Bake 45 to 50 minutes
  7. remove from pan and cool for at least 15 minutes

When you are finished cooking, toast and top with butter, Nutella, jam, or anything else that sounds delicious.
